The website is currently going through some revamping by my good buddy Shawty from Digital Solutions.

Shawty has already improved the search engine, and is working on some improvements that I am sure you will enjoy once they are implemented. This will really add to the usability and quality of the information presented on FPG.

About the Firearms Price Guide

The Firearms Price Guide is an ambitious project to bring a free gun price guide to the Internet. This site will take a lot of work and effort on the part of several people, but the result will be the first ever free online price guide for guns, handguns, rifles, shotguns, and lever action guns.

The Firearms Price Guide (FPG) will be totally, and completely FREE! No sign-ups, no subscriptions, no BS. This site will be about sharing information, protecting our 2nd Amendment rights, and broadening our knowledge base.

I hope this site will help you determine the value of the guns you possess, or hope to acquire.

Where will the prices come from on FPG? Prices will be determined from actual sales of firearms throughout the country, not the opinion of some gun expert based on what he THINKS a gun should be worth.

What makes me an expert on gun prices? NOTHING. I am a novice to the gun world by many people's standards. So why would I start a price guide? Because it needs to be done and I have ample experience in price guide construction, operating, and maintaining. Please see my About me on my web design site.

Please stay tuned, check back often, and I will get this site up and running as fast as I can.

What about the future? The FPG will eventually have pictures for many of the firearms listed, as well as more detailed information. This will come with Phase II. It is my goal to create the most comprehensive database of firearms pricing information available anywhere. It will rely not only on the hard work of the webmaster and programmers, but the diligence of the visitors keeping things in check, and making sure things don't get out of hand, or fall out of date.

This will be a community effort in the long run. You can be a part of it. in the future I will rely on the visitors of this site to help populate the database with pictures, historical data, and correction.
