It's Hammer Time at my House.
Been too hot to go outside and work for long, so I went indoors under some nice cool A/C and built me a little target plinker last few days. Still waiting on a BCG and 2-stage trigger assembly to complete before testing out.

RE: It's Hammer Time at my House.
Why thank you Gnepig. Where the "H" you been son, long time no see.
Here's the run down and I did finish it up with parts I was waiting for and a change to the hand grip that isn't in picture. Starting from the back and working forward: RRA A2 rifle stock/spring/buffer kit. Anderson Lower(enclosed trigger guard). Anderson Upper. PSA "classic" LPK(different trigger assy). PSA upper and lower receiver build kit. Aim Surplus FA BCG w/9310 bolt. This is their "BDG"(BuDGet) model. Jerry Miculek "steel" charge handle. RRA National Match 2-stage trigger/hammer kit(includes springs) 4.5-5# pull. UTG Ergonomic hand grip(not in pic). Needed to slightly modify as this grip isn't made for an enclosed trigger style. Magpul 10-round mag. UTG QD scope ring mounts (used to be 1-piece but I split it for better scope/rail fitment choices). RITON(Right On) 3-12x40 w/SF scope (I did a field test for this new scope company, but one of the founding owner's died, so didn't open doors. A review of this scope is in the scope area on this site). ESS Solutions 16" HBAR barrel w/5.56 chamber, 1/9 twist, unlined. Anderson LoPro "steel" gas block. Anderson stainless gas tube. Delta Team Tactical 15" "O-Pro" free float rail w/steel barrel nut. NcStar bipod/rail adapter. Caldwell 6-9" bipod. Lightning Ammo "Spitfire" compensator. I collected many parts as spares over the years, before deciding I wanted to build something I didn't have. Which lead me to get a few parts I didn't have in my rebuild/supply box. This of course, is what the outcome became. Del |

Damn, a kick-ass gun by Del and the return of Gnepig. Could this thread get any better?
Awesome gun there, Del. I bet it shoots as good as it looks. (08-27-2015 11:33 PM)Delbert Wrote: Why thank you Gnepig. Where the "H" you been son, long time no see. Ken Firearms Price Guide...For What It's Worth. Join Us On Facebook! Check Out Our Blog! |
