Colt 1911 Mk 4
I have a colt 1911 Mk 4, series 70, with a bright nickel finish, ser.#70G86704.
I am wanting to trade this gun for 2 smaller, lighter weapons for my wife and myself, under concealed weapons permits. I bought this gun new and have kept it in very good condition since 1974. I even have the original owners sheet but not the box. Can someone please give me an approximate value? I understand the nickel finish is very rare. In going to Gun Broker.com, I picked up some advice. This gun has been gun smith accurized by porting and polishing the feed ramp and installing Wilson combat parts, springs ect., to improve reliability. It also has Wilson Combat sights. I have extra recoil and firing pin springs, 7 mags and 1 belt holster and one Galco "Miami Vice" shoulder rig for it. Thanks:tongue: |
