Ruger sr22 PBT
Just curious. The Ruger SR22 PBT (threaded insert in barrel end>) O.K. call me a dummy but what is the threaded insert's purpose? Is this for a barrel extension or flash suppressor or what? Thanks for any info and merry Christmas.

Welcome to the forum. From what I gather it is for a supressor. Most companies have a protector that threads over the threaded portion, but from what I understand Ruger didn't include one with this gun.

Enjoy it, it has gotten some good reviews.
