What is the serial number brake on the 30/30 winchester from pre1964 to later dates? Thanks

The 64 model was a critical year for Winchester as they wanted to speed up production with the introduction of cast/stamped parts in the lever action, and for this I would go to a Winchester lever action forum to find just what you're looking for. These guys are experts on pros and cons between the pre 64's and post models, along with serial number break downs.
